Zynga cuts 150 of its staff, closes its Boston office, and drops some games

Mobile game developer Zynga, having been in financial trouble since over paying for "Draw Something" developer OMGPOP, has shut its Boston office and pink slipped 150 workers, some of whom were working on new games for the company; 13 games will be sunset...

When I first played Draw Me Something, I really enjoyed it; however, I knew it was a game that people would grow tired of eventually and it did in fact happened. I think that Zynga really overpaid for Draw Me Something and I'm sure the CEO bangs his head on his desk everyday because of it. But I'm also starting to lose interest in Zynga's other games, like Words with Friends and Scramble with Friends. Never been a fan of Hanging with Friends though. But I wish Zynga the best and hope they make smarter decisions from now on.
