It is "ugh" to see everyone trying to create the hype that my smartphone is the thinnest in the world.. but doesn't mean that batteries have to remain thick. They also get modern.. new technology comes to play, and maybe they did create a battery which is that thin and can run the whole day. Would be interesting to check it out.

Yeah I don't really having a phone that thin is necessary. I would take the max over the thin razr any day. Thin is cool to look at but after the first week I personally think the difference in thickness between this and like a galaxy nexus is somthing I notice and if the battery dies in three hours. (like my nexus does in five sometimes) than I really don't want that. I would expect the new iPhone 5 coming in October or so might actually a little thicker cause of LTE and such just like the new iPad and if I get twice the battery for it than right on. But than again if the iPhone 4 and 4s had a carbon fiber back lick the razr you could but a huge battery in it and make it the same width by taking off the thick piece of glass on the back for the thinner carbon fiber and would still look bad ass

My RAZR gets 2-2 1/2 days battery life on average, and has build quality that even my Apple fan friends admire. Heck, I think they designed the RAZR around the battery.They can keep this phone, I'm good.....

They can make it thin but wide to accomodate a bigger battery. Though I'm not a fan of thin droids.

Thin and working well IE antenna reception, and battery life don't necessarily go hand in hand it seems. Why have this for just three hours and fail....clearly they are not in tune with the real consumer

Obviosly ZTE cannot compete with HTC or SS on level term, so they target a niche market to diffrentiate themselves.

I think that is good strategyto build the brand.

Exactly. There are consumers out there who actually DO care about thinness over battery life, and this plays to their desires.

Whatever. It's nice to see ZTE actually making a play at a high-end phone. I'll hold my judgement until I see its actual capabilities. Perchance ZTE has stumbled upon some revolutionary battery technology.

I'm kind of surprised that most tech websites grossly downplayed its A15 processor. That's news you don't see everyday.

Companies think the thinner the better. BUT it's even worse. Thinness is not a good way to attract consumers. They should consider better batteries like Moto RAZR MAXX. AND should not use anything weaker than the one in RAZR MAXX. Because the technology has reached that level of battery life and companies just have to put that in their phones.
