didn't it came to your mind that apple products are mostly manufactured in China? :O if something is inside that device, don't you think they will continue to manufacture it? hmm.

If i'm not mistaken, was not Apple accused of spying or tracking the users of the iphone just a couple of years ago? So it might not be all that far fetched to assume China could retaliate. And then on the other hand, if i was owed more than 7 trillion dollars from the U.S.A., I might try to listen in, and see if they really were, intending on paying me back... Just my opinion.

You must dont remember that some years ago...that DRM was comparable to a root kit. And I think it did cause some ppl problems with their PC's.

I honestly don't know what to think about this. In a way I really feel bad for Huawei and ZTE for not being able to stand a chance in our US market, but at the same time maybe the general public doesn't really know all the facts. I do find it hypocritical that a good majority of Apple products are produced in China yet they're not being given all this scrutiny.

This is just ridiculous. Our government gave China free reign with our trade policies in the 80s and 90s, and it transformed them into the most powerful country in the world, and now they are desperately trying to renig on this. When you dangle a carrot in front of the rabbit, why punish it after it gets the carrot?

This is the bottom line, we as regular citizens cannot comment on the validity of the claims or frustration on the part of ZTE. There may be cause for it but then again maybe not. One thing is certain that eventually it would be nice to get over this nonsense and countries allow companies to do business anywhere without imposing some kind of national pride or security to their products. I know I would hate it if I had a product that was deemed unsafe even if I know it to be otherwise. Countries are different I understand and so are cultures but that does not mean it cannot be dealt with.
