ZTE continues its quest for world domination, announces the V81 tablet

It's strange how the name "ZTE" no longer sounds exotic to us. Phone after phone and tablet after tablet, ZTE has almost become an inseparable part of the daily news stream. Of course, the Chinese manufacturer hasn't managed to position itself next to the respected companies in the industry yet, but it doesn't seem to be in a hurry.
Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Apple iPad mini won't be the only 8" tablets this year, as ZTE has just announced an 8" tab of its own! The device is called V81, and isn't anything special in terms of looks, just like the rest of the manufacturer's line-up. Unsurprisingly, it will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while the hardware specs of the ZTE V81 include an 8" 1,024 x 768 pixel display, 1.4GHz dual-core CPU of unknown type, 1GB RAM, 2MP camera, HDMI port and 3,700mAh battery.
Information about release date and pricing is still unavailable, but there's a pretty good chance that we'll meet the ZTE V81 at MWC 2013.

Sure the battery and screen are uninspiring but it'll sell like hot cakes where I live (south africa) where the galaxy tab 2 7" is about R 5000 (about $560) the low price point added in with the decent performance will be welcomed
