If you are talking about HTC M7 then you should know that some rumors still says that it will be also 5" not 4.7", but who knows it is still only a rumors.

Also don't forget that with minimal bezel even phone with 5" display may have the same dimensions as phone with 4.7" display.

Look at the RAZR vs the RAZR HD, both are nearly EXACT the same height and yet the RAZR HD has a bigger 4.7 inch display vs the older one at only 4.3 inch display. So I can tell you that just a .3 inch difference, it's not going to be ungodly to hold and frankly I'm sick of people complaining about such a small difference in screen size lol.

The RAZR M is so freaking small and yet still manages to pack a 4.3 inch display. They are getting better and better at making the bezels way smaller than they used to.

I agree with the last part. I've held the DNA and it feels great but is just a little too much for me. If they had a 4.7" device that was proportionally smaller, I would jump on it. A 4.7" device with Razr M bezels would be 2.59" wide. Compared to the DNA, that's nearly .2" smaller which is definitely noticeable in hand. All I ask is they release a slightly smaller device with the same size bezels as these 5" phones.

I'm waiting for more news about rumored Sony Odin, rumors says that it should be conditionally compact as device with 5" display.

Sony Odin: 131.6 x 69.7 x 9.8 mm (5" Display)

Samsung Galaxy III: 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm (4.8" Display)

HTC Droid DNA: 141 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm (5" Display)

ZTE is desperate for a killer feature, they want the record thinness to be the selling point. But that's not what most users need, they need battery life. I don't believe ZTE has found a revolutionary technology that makes a 7.6mm thin 5" 1080p phone last as long as normal phones.

I guees ZTE target niche market of fashion phones.
