YouTube for iOS updated, adds support for live streaming

Google's YouTube app for iOS received an update that helps you quickly find new videos uploaded by channels that you have subscribed to and one important new feature allows those using version 1.3 to view live streams right on your YouTube app, something that we've seen used recently for the Coachella music festival...

No need, we have been able to do this for quite some time. Unlike apple novelties we can do it right from the browser since we have a REAL browser.

Ya but you know you would take if you could. I personally hate youtube for ios. I have crazy fast lte in my area and it still buffers constantly

What? Why would he when he clearly said you can watch yt on a standard Android browser just fine, therefore negating the need to use an app. If a website I frequent has an app or mobile version I choose the browser every single time. This is just apple playing catch up yet again and passing it off as revolutionary.
