Google was 2nd to Yahoo in the toddler days of consumer internet. Yahoo used to be my homepage, now it's Google. And I use chrome. I still have this heart for Yahoo and that's why my personal mail is still ymail, I just made a Google account for my droid.
Anyway, it's been a long time since I heard news about Yahoo and I'm happy their still progressing :)

Yes, it is great... but, I'm not convinced with the browser... I mean, there's a lot of them already, I guess it will be all about the innovations they bring... I really don't wanna see them fail, but they should have tryied with something else

Yeah the browser is kind of not too good. I mean, no flash? I know HTML5 is gaining ground but were not there yet and majority of users will want flash support.
Becoming the fastest is different from being the most widely used. Oh Yahoo.

yahoo feels too cluttered for me. the moment I bought an Android device, i shifted to gmail and left yahoo. now I only use messenger to send free texts whenever I need it.
worth a try though, when it appears in the Play Store.

I won't even try it dude. I'm fine with the stock droid browser and opera mini. And yeah, Yahoo is too cluttered with ads now. The only thing about yahoo that I like now is yahoo news.

Try the Maxthon Browser. Very fast too, comparable to Opera. But I like Opera better, it just grew on me. :p

Too late and bad timing of entry with more than bearable competition in Browser market, imho...

I still depend on Yahoo for news and my e-Mail.
That browser won't beat Dolphin Browser HD when it comes to android.
