I agree with others, calling out someone for a centrally placed logo? There are actually very few companies that don't do that, and it started well before Apple was even thought of. That kind of placement ensures that anyone who sees it will know who produces it, and therefore, make it easy to find one to purchase.

I take it you haven't seen "Planet of Apes"-Saga.

Indeed the Xiaomi products resemble very much those of Apple.Hell.you can say that Huawei does the same thing. But in the end what does matter is the quality of the product and the satisfied customer, that is what people want, satisfaction. And on that satisfaction you can build an empire even if you started as a copie.

If one day Apple's inovation process will be left behind by that of the Copie-Companies it will mean the beginning of the end for Apple.Nothing is forever, not even Apple.

Victor produce an Internal Memo to Apple inc. and inform they to prepare a trial. Are you from Apple inside?

"We're not copying Apple's products. End of story," should be changed to "We're not copying only Apple's products. End of story," since they are also copying other company's ideas (remember the Pressy clone?)

The camera sensor is located same place as on S5, ooh the front is just a copy of Z2, Huawei even Meizu. And the speaker grill will quickly remind one of lumia icon, aluminum frame? Nokia just did that on icon and iPhone has had that since God knows when. The swappable back covers is simply inspired by moto maker.

Seriously what are we? 10 years olds? Maybe oems should start placing camera and flash on the center just like on 1020 or even lower, move the speaker grill to the top, shift to squares like Vu and passport since rectangle is already congested. Silly and pathetic.

Product showcase performance arts and MiPad maybe.. the rest are a total complete waste of bytes at a written piece, considering that all iPhone 6 leaks available points to a completely diff rounded off edge as opposed to that years long chiseled angle design cue, seriously pro-Apple/iPhone writers need to get off their high horse like 3 years ago ffs.

Well at least finally someone over at The Verge gave HTC their much deserved M8 credit for a line there.

Idk?

when apple designs something it's called innovation. when other companies design something it's called copying apple...

Xiaomi has blatantly copied apple only in so far as the outside design/chassis is concerned. Internally & this is much more important, it is much more powerful.

1920 res vs sub HD
5 inches vs 4
3 GB ram vs 1
Slim forehead & chin vs huge forehead & chin on a puny device
Totally different SoC that is capable of matching the iPhone in benchmarks while pumping out 3x the number of pixels
True multitasking capable OS vs no multitasking
Very affordable price vs brain washed daylight robbery (this goes for big brand Android manufacturers like Samsung/LG/Sony/HTC too)

Maybe it's "way" more powerful because it's brand new. The fact that the Mi4 is just as good as a last generation device is kind of saying something.
