Face it.. most consumers are mere sheep.. plodding along, following the marketing machine of the latest fad company.

Most people I encounter that are buying phones do so impulsively, with NO investigation whatsoever - just buy whatever looks good on TV or in the store. So yeah, his comment that "everyone wants samsung" is somewhat correct, if not taken too literally.

I can see companies like Xiaomi putting pressure on the big manufacturers eventually. Will be good for all consumers to have some more competition, especially with the Service Providers moving towards fewer subsidies. Who can afford $600 for a phone every 2 years??

Most consumers are following the trend.........

And let's say the Samsung Galaxy S2, popular right?Last year, many people know that the Galaxy S3 will be released, and they line up overnight just for getting a smartphone, and I don't know about the Galaxy S4, but it will be the same!

It's just a smartphone, and many people sacrifice their health just for a smartphone! Stupid right? :)

Yeah let's definitely run software from a country who's been hacking our network for years. People bought Samsung for many reasons and the following reasons didn't help the other manufacturers
The one series sucks besides the one plus
Motorola ducked besides the max (Verizon exclusive)
Sony well Sony is Sony. Expensive out dated hardware
The s3 had no real competitors
