Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 allegedly scores above 85K on AnTuTu

Last week, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 was introduced. Available with either Android (16GB, 64GB of internal storage) and Windows 10 (64GB version only) inside, the version of the 7.9-inch slate stuffed with Android produced a rather impressive score on the AnTuTu benchmark test. The Mi Pad 2 posted a tally of 85,101, which put it in the same rarefied air reserved for devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the Meizu PRO 5 and the Huawei Mate 8.

The Mi Pad 2's 7.9-inch screen carries a 1536 x 2048 resolution, producing a pixel density of 326ppi. What's under the hood, you ask?
