Ummmm... apparently, some people do. Speak for yourself, and let them speak for themselves. Personally, I would never get an iPad... and I likely will not get a Windows tablet, either, unless that was the only option remaining to replace my aging desktop some day, in which case I would go on the cheap side with Windows RT if it was still only for my personal use by then.

I don't care if it is a troll, not a woman, or whatever... the key here is that they, whoever they might be, used the word "prefer". The word "prefer" indicates a personal preference, and I am not going to thumb down somebody for announcing a personal preference that is actually in line with the topic of the article, anyway... yeah, it is directed primarily at the Microsoft announcement, but the voting card mentions the iPad and other Android tablets as well. So, what's all this big beef about somebody just sayin' "I prefer the iPad"? I don't care who they are... what is so wrong about having an opinion, whether dissenting or not, as long as they are writing it reasonably... and including the smiley-face at the end is NOT unreasonable...

NavisWorks & BIM software will only work on full computers.. and having a tough tablet on a jobsite will be a HUGE boost for the construction market.
