75% to 80% of BIS users are apparently out of service and the outage has affected multiple carriers in multiple locations...

Obama will probably have a bailout ready by tomorrow so it wont happen again to Blackberry.

Just do what i did, tell at&t you have a dumb phone use the dumb phone data plan using a fake esn, or whatever you want of your choosing like an old phone to pull this off, it works especially well if you buy your phone from best buy mobile so you can still get insurance without having it activated on your account, as long as you dont care about your emails being pushed you can save 35 a month and not deal with outages. this only works for GSM b/c of sim cards. if you have cdma your screwed.

Hey all I do anything abt a BIS blackout,But all I can tell u is i had a BB 8900 Curve since July 17th n abd 5 weeks ago it went crazy the Blackberry Application World(when I tried to use it it said Please Subscribe to serive to a Service tht has Internet so u can use the Advantages of bla bla blaaaa) n when I tried to back up my cell I cld not backup my msgs(darn it) n my latest contacts.I took it to T-Mobile the next day for repairing it.It took them abt 5 weeks since there is no BB Repairing in Holland.n yesterday I got My 8900 Curve back.....the Funyy thing was that THEY GAVE ME A BRAND NEW PIECE.....THE question I asked my self was why shd that happen.I take very good care of my phone,havent even dropped it once. Now the SE Xperia X2(Windows Mobile) n the Xperia X10(Android) has caught my eye.Hopefully by summer time Ill choose one of them.
