They need to improve the rate of energy conversion. 10 minutes of sunlight for 1 minute of talk, that is one hour of sun for 10 minutes. It would no be efficient to use sunlight as the source of battery power for average talkers. It is a start into something that needs to be better.

Alright roll with me here, One hour = 60 Minutes and 60/10 = 10!?!?!?!?!?! haha, but good point overall, it's a fun concept and I wouldn't really buy the phone for that feature, it would just kind of be a nice little perk.
