hahha. the last line of the article is funny...after the battery dies it will just be an expensive pile of shit.

7. SamTime posted on 27 Nov 2009, 02:48

you do realize that although the battery isn't removable without tools, it can still be replaced, right? there's even services out there that'll replace it for you. there's even instructions online to do it yourself. im not sure why you detest the phone so much. when the iphone comes to verizon, will you then be accepting of it?

8. biggles posted on 27 Nov 2009, 06:34

You can send it to Apple when the battery dies to replace. Of course, per policy, they can simply retain your 14k gold, diamond studded iphone and send you back a refurbished run-of-the-mill iphone. Haha, jokes on you, Mr. Businessman from Australia! Apple wins again. Buy stock!

well sam, no i will not get it, even if it was free and it had a free plan.

You probably don't like the 3GS. You might change your mind in with the next device or the one after that. You never know. Right now I think Android powered devices are crap and that the Android market sucks. But my opinion can change in a year.

15. vzw fanman posted on 27 Nov 2009, 18:12

why dont you just buy the droid and try it for 30 days.

Nah

Me to vzw fanman... i hate everything apple so I will never buy one... EVER! I would rather not have a cell phone at all than have an iPhone. I hate all the tools I know that have one (not that I am saying everyone who owns one is a tool, just everyone I know). Apple would have to pay me to use their products... and enough for me to live ridiculously comfortable and own several small islands somewhere in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, and I would still buy Microsoft products. I HATE APPLE THAT MUCH! But to each their own, but never for me.

21. deago78 posted on 29 Nov 2009, 22:00

You are a really giant liar. Yes you would take an iPhone over no phone at all. I'm very much willing to bet my own life on it. The fact that you're on this site proves your need for a cell phone lol.

will invisible shield work on this thing?maybe i'll get one.

9. som posted on 27 Nov 2009, 06:59

$3.2 millions is for gold, diamonds, labor, maker name, and $700 for iPhone may be the person who bought it will never use it. good luck for theft.

10. me. posted on 27 Nov 2009, 09:16

who uses that phone dose not care about all the above

12. jundibasam posted on 27 Nov 2009, 13:56

I wonder how much AT&T will subsidize this thing with a new two-year Customer Agreement? I will gladly cancel my fantastic Verizon service, give away my HTC Touch Pro 2, and sign on with AT&T if they'll give it to me on contract with a two-year service agreement. I don't care that the damn thing won't work at all since its on AT&T, but i'll be walking around with 22kt gold and a ton of diamonds in my pocket and look really cool doing it. That is what being an iphone owner is all about isn't it? looking cool and trendy?

14. E.N. posted on 27 Nov 2009, 17:09

You guys need to stick to one argument. Some of you guys are saying that the iPhone is old, played out, and has lost it's wow factor why you and others are saying that people only buy it to look cool and trendy.

^ Right on all accounts, friend.

22. jundibasam posted on 30 Nov 2009, 06:37

have you heard the concept of sarcasm? Granted, message posts are hard to convey it, but it does exist in the written as well as verbal form of communication. Just because something is cool and trendy doesn't mean its the best product on the market. The average cell phone user is a sheep and has a basic understanding of technology, so it will take a while before new products catch on, but from a phone standpoing and someone who studies technology (esp. wireless) for work, I realize the iphone is an outdated piece of shit device compared to what is being offered today. Admittedly, it was the must-have device and the most advanced device on the market of 2007 and even 2008, but with the release of the HTC TP2, HTC HD2, DROID, Storm 2 (what the original should've been), and others, it no longer is the most advanced and top-notch phone out there.

17. CRICKETownz posted on 27 Nov 2009, 20:03

Yes SamTime...whenever the iPhone hits Verizon i will abandon the idea of this ridiculous phone that is 22K gold and blessed with diamonds. 3.2 million dollars and still the possibility of dropping a call or having a slow data connection.
