WordPress app now ready for Android Market

Considering that WordPress is one of the top platforms for blogs, and that the momentum behind Android is making it one of the top mobile OS, it should be no surprise that WordPress for Android is now available at the Android Market. The app allows you to configure and manage multiple blogs, Create and edit posts, categories, tags and photos, Create and edit pages and get notification of new comments in the Android notification bar.

The foundation for this app comes from the popular wpToGo app for Android so some users might feel right at home with the new app and wpToGo will be discontinued as all future mobile blogging efforts will be focused on WordPress for Android.
