Yes. Wine has been available for a very long while now on the Linux desktop OS. It's about damn time they finally brought it over to Android. What took them so long?

Well that would suck... even i, a wp fan cannot see many apps that i would like on my android tablet... but on the other side running .exe programs would KICK ASS :D

wine was used to run windows desktop apps on linux So imthonk it will run natuve windows desktop apps there is app called winulator to run windows game such as caesar iii age of empires on android

No wine only run windows desktop app there is an apps called winulator that makes your android phones run apps or games from win95/98 such as starcraft or caesar iii

Wine has been available on Linux for years and it has yet to turn Linux into a Windows killer. Wine is for the users that are so bound at the hip to legacy Microsoft applications that they cannot see how to do it in Linux. How about we all go learn how to use Linux as is and appreciate the freedom of true open source instead of devising a way to keep using proprietary apps and making muddy waters in Linux.

Yes, of course, but here's the point:

Android will reach well over billion user base this year.
It has an established, versatile and robust "eco system".
It's the world's most spread out OS already.

Funny you say that. I tried it a few times some years ago. It was buggy enough that I just looked for the Linux alternatives to the Windows software.

My problem would for for my kids. They use MS Office in school. Just to make things easier when doing homework I have to use Office.
