Windows Phone might get a graphics boost, suggests job posting

Thanks to a job posting that was spotted on the company's careers web page, we now know that improving the graphics in Windows Phone is indeed on Microsoft's agenda. The software giant is in search of a skilled Senior Program Manager, who will “play a key role in advancing the graphics platform that is at the heart of the acclaimed Windows Phone user experience” and will be required “to help drive development of the graphic APIs in the Windows Phone operating system”.
However, once the overhauled graphics system in Windows Phone becomes reality, it might not be used to spice up the platform's interface as much as it will help with the development of advanced video games and applications. The platform has been criticized for lagging in the graphics department when compared to the competition, and Microsoft might be already working on coming up with an adequate solution to address the issue.
So, when will the results from Microsoft's work end up on a Windows Phone device? The answer to that is still anyone's guess, but we will cross our fingers hoping that we get treated to some eye candy with the platform's next major release.

They have postings for camera. Now they have posting for graphics. Exciting news. Downside is consumers would have to wait 3rd or 4th quarter for super phones. Wish MS sometimes like Android, new phones every month.
