We could be here all day if we're gonna start listing the apps windows phone doesn't have. I love my HTC Radar but the lack of POPULAR apps are really making me watch this new Nexus.

I read somewhere else that though the number of apps have increased, the rate at which new apps comes up on windows is actually slowing down.

You're right, due to the fact that most developers are waiting on Windows phone 8, the rate has been slowing down. Once Windows phone 8 is released, a bunch of apps will come.

I have been rooting for Windows Phone since its birth. I really hope it does well. However, I am trying to make a decision between going for a Note 2 or a HTC 8X (The Lumia 920 won't be coming to T-mobile). I have been looking at these two for a while. Can someone provide me with some of what they think are the pros/cons of these two? Both ardware and software are applicable.

Note 2: PROS: Huge, Jelly Bean, good battery life, lots of support & programs CONS: Huge, Samsung isn't great with OS updates, not many apps yet that can take advantage of its form factor and resolution (for now). Android is very popular, but it's also getting stale, and showing its age, despite the very good improvements with ICS and JB.
WP8X: PROS: Still large screen, just smaller, WP8, more unique style, less prone to issues with apps due to screen resolution or size, generally better quality apps though sometimes more pricey for the paid apps, lots of support from Microsoft and very good integration with the existing and upcoming Windows ecosystems. More specialized experience, and you may be seen as a trailblazer adopting the new OS before others do, and being able to take advantage of that.CONS: HTC has been losing marketshare and money, so while there is support for them, it's less prevalent. Doesn't get a lot of the exclusive apps that Lumias get, but will have some (Nokia Maps, for instance). Fewer app choices, and some of the more popular ones are missing, but that is being resolved
That said, why not the Samsung ATIV S? I thought that, too, was coming to T-Mo. Essentially a GS3 running WP8

Windows Phone will continue to bring that unique experience and most certainly prove any doubters wrong. I think it will continue to live up to strong expectations.

Does anyone know if windows phone has Flixter, Soundhound, Pulse, Stubhub, or Urbanspoon? I'm planning on switching from IOS to WP8 when the lumia 920 comes out.

this is actually kinda slow achievement... but im pretty sure they will achieve 200,000 app mark in no time coz Windows RT and Windows 8 are now officially announce!! and since they share same kernel-windows NT- app development between these OSes will be easy!
