Microsoft’s Windows Phone might have not yet gotten the traction it needs to compete with the big two iOS and Android, but it definitely caught developers’ attention…

I'm really hoping WP will become more popular when Win8 comes out. Hope it will knock some sence into Google.

Almost all the essential apps are there now! MS is aware that the ecosystem needs more apps and evidently they seem to be pushing for it. I'll wait with my Samsung Focus until the APOLLO comes back to EARTH :D

I'm not sure about ios but most of the apps are repeating in android with different developers name & style but the use is same. There are some unique apps but hope MS will eventually increase its size when i buy lumia 900 for me

Thumbs up if you would move to windows phone if they had more apps at lower prices.

I would move today, at full retail, if the ecosystem was there. I love android, but WP is a better OS than any out there IMHO. But w-t-f is a smart phone if all you get is 3$ angry birds (which is now old) and MS Office.

yep i agree they have to expand os marketplace unit availability in various regions of the world esp. that now wp is starting to heat up! they have to make it faster so people would not get bored and shift to other os just like in our case wp are available in the philippines but only in selected area people who are interested in other areas got nothing to do i know wp and nokia will do their best.. i'll be waiting patiently for the wp8 :)

To me it's not the number of Apps that count it's the ones that really matter and work well that counts Microsoft has to get the knowledge of what are the most sought after Apps on Android and Apple IOS AND THEN get the developers who made them to make a version for Windows 7 series smart phones and the coming windows 8 smart phones later this year.
