Windows Phone 8 to finally get Photosynth in "weeks"

One of the more annoying omissions from the Windows Phone Store with the release of Windows Phone 8 has been Photosynth, Microsoft's 360 degree panorama photo taking app. The app had been available on Windows Phone 7.5 devices, but didn't make the jump to WP8, and the Photosynth team is finally explaining what went wrong, and has confirmed that a WP8 version of the app is just "weeks away"...

i first thought windows found sum way to charge their phone using solar power like wat photosynthesis does for plants!... well.....

"Photosynth, Microsoft's 360 degree panorama photo taking app", it's right there in the first sentence, guy. and in case you didn't make it that far the author also compares it to Google's photosphere.

I'll go hunt for it, and see how well it does the job. After all, one of the reasons I bought my Lumia 920 was because of it's awesome camera. I don't see how anybody into photography can pass this smartphone up...
