The first over-the-air software update for Windows Phone 8 is rolling out as we speak, and the first smartphone to get it is the HTC 8X. It brings the OS' build number from 9905 to 10211, takes care of the random reboot issue we wrote about recently, and introduces a handful of new features, along with an anticipated Wi-Fi connectivity tweak...

Absolutely yes. If making a switch, go for the best. Plus the Nokia comes with the best camera, better screen, and more free goodies.

Yeah the Lumia 920 has better maps, it's got office built in. Camera is an upgrade, and it's got free music streaming with Nokia Music or whatever it's called. There are Drawbacks though, the App Store is not as populated, and you'll end up using alternatives to apps your already invested in. There's no official Pandora App, Instagram, and some others. I'd suggest going to WindowsPhone.com and seeing if it has apps you'd want. But don't let app support turn you off the Lumia 920 has a more durable body (you wont need a case) and it's got an excellent camera and offline maps that won't get you lost in the wilderness. Wow I wrote a lot....hope it helps!

if apps is a real pain (for me it isnt) then go to nokia's beta page xyo.net
if a desired app isnt there (example instagram) there is always an equivalent( aka lomogram)
xyo.net is not only for lumia... it is for anybody that wants to find good apps for there devices

Well where is it? Phonearena is a bit late to the party on this one. Many outlets have reported this already and stated that so far only unlocked WP or nontelecomm branded phones are getting the update(s). Been checking for the updates on my T-Mobile HTC 8x.
