Windows Phone 8 may get universal search

One of the knocks we had against Windows Phone in our recent review of its stock apps was that there was no universal search option for the system. You could search contacts in the People app, or apps in your programs list, etc...

good for MS, as they have the capacity to reduce the limitations of WP8 to make it a more competitive OS.

This is considered a basic function. I think this type of upgrade is expected in Windows 8. You know- those functions that get it even with Android and iOS.
I am more excited to see how improvements to Live tiles, Office, integration of social contacts, the development of the Microsoft ecosystem, and the other "unique" aspects of WP will be improved.
You know: those functions that make it different from Android and iOS and may give it an advantage to use it over those two.

Microsoft future depends on the release of windows 8 there tablet market and there phone market too
also they need to mature thier os not like adding a search button is a not big deal
windows 8 should feature lte nfc using of multiple cores custimization and many things
so due to that fucking balmer nokias future could be in danger
i would say that nokia would bash everyone if they had control over wp7 os

Windows will never be able to catch up to android let alone iOS. Apple is king!
