Windows Phone 7 could be launched October 11th with a huge event in New York City

A new mobile operating system from one of the biggest and most established names in IT will likely ripple the smartphone industry for a while, so it is not surprising that Microsoft is planning a huge announcement party. Moreover, it is likely to pour about $1 billion in development, marketing and distribution of WP7, and a good chunk of this money will undoubtedly be spared for unveiling announcements worldwide.
This coincides with a lot of rumors and semi-official confirmations that Windows Phone 7 devices will start showing up with carriers in October, first in Europe, then in North America. There is some stellar WP7 hardware rumored, and intriguing capabilities demoed, thus we are sure that the launch events around the new mobile OS and its handsets will keep us occupied for a long time.

Two Words Out Dateded! Atleast by the time wp7 comes out its gunna be like the droid x and evo had a baby and the iphone4 and Hd2 had a baby and those two babies got together and F**ked!= WP7

I have been an avid phone enthusiast for many years. I have always jumped from os to os. I will love to try this when i feel my phone is outdated. I get so bored and used to the environment I currently use that anythign new is great. Currently android is my poison and it feels powerful plus i do like it. But when 12 months or 24 months rolls around i am bored silly. Thankfully the world we live in as it comes to phones the software and hardware change so rapidly that something new and interesting to try is out. I dont hate any of the operating systems that are out at all. I think they all have positive's and negatives and i for one cant wait to try something new. Please dont count winmo 6.5 and older or the treo os. The webos is great ios is also great.
