Now they just need the capable devices to run this OS on. HTC will probably be the first outta the gate. Just in time, now that most carriers will be moving to 4G networks this year.

Well... according to another article, this demo phone was manufactured by Asus. Rumar had it that LG was going ot be first with WP7s. Snapdragon, tegra, and 512 ram is all you need, that is becoming the new stock requirements for all high-end smartphones anyway, so I could see this going large scale quickly. Dell, HP, Asus, HTC, LG, Samsung, Motorola and Acer all have plans to make WP7s phones. As long as microsoft keeps a tight rap on the requirements and the manufacturers make a solid product, WP7s should sell well. Good article PA, I appreciated the extra effort that was put into this one.

Even though the manufacturer seems almost unimportant with regards to the phone itself i still REALLY hope HTC builds it. Though i have some doubts, mainly because im pessimistic. Plummeting Windows Mobile sales are plaguing the phone manufacturer. This phone is heading in a different direction from the company, opting out of its new interfaces including HTC Sense. still though i am ridiculously excited =DD
