Window to purchase AppleCare+ for the iPhone is extended to one year

0. phoneArena 19 Mar 2017, 11:07 posted on

Apple has made a significant change to extended warranty AppleCare+. Previously, those who purchased an Apple iPhone had 60-days after buying the handset to add the AppleCare+ plan. Starting now, that period of time has been lengthened to one year. For example, a person who had purchased an iPhone last December would be ineligible to purchase AppleCare+ after February...

Now that's a good thing. Now just make iCloud Drive cheaper and I'll be happy. I think they will this year.

Er yeah I realized what I typed and isn't what I meant and mistyped but the point still stands. Obviously nothing is less then a penny and unordinary was saying that it costs 99 cents a month for that storage plan. Obviously it can't be cheaper then a penny so not sure what jeffsiphone is trying to get at or his objective, was he trying to correct unordinary or just being snarky

Was he just poking fun at unordinary? Who knows but yes the point still stands

Thanks for literally adding nothing useful or worthy of discussion to the conversation though

Who's alt are you btw? You comment very similar to a fellow poster here

I need more unfortunately. I'd like to give iCloud photos a try but I have about 60gb of videos and pics.

It's all about Google Photos dude. Some don't like it though because of the privacy concerns.

Pretty impressed with Apple though and the way their photos app can search for dogs, buildings, colors, faces, etc etc without the way the Google does it through invasive privacy. Data sharing at the price of free unlimited photo storage wins me over though. Some people don't like that, so iCloud storage can be a good thing.

I think 200 GB's a month is $1.99, and goes up to 2TB a month for $20. /shrug. Apple made the pricing extremely competitive two years ago I think. Come to think of it, they're making all their services pricing pretty competitive, Apple Music to name another. Shocking

Bur their phones keep breaking, so more people are going to buy it. So why not give them all the time in the world?

Its a good move though.

I could have sworn i said it was a good move.

But the fact they are having more phone issues than tbey did in the past, this is a benefit.

For people who happen to pay cash, after paying $650 or more, not having spend another $100+ right away is a cool thing.

See youre so stupid, you think even when i complement a good thing about Apple, you still act a fool.

The facts show Apple has more phone evwn a year after the phones release. So maybe if you didnt have AppleCarw, when your phone acts up 11 months later, you can still by it.

7/7 Plus has a lower failure rate then top Android flagships out at the moment

You never have anything positive to say nor objective or actually factual. You are trying too hard

Apple has best customer service of all phone OEMs. I like the option to go into an Apple store and get official service then and there. I've read screen replacement takes 2hrs or less, and cost around the same as a 3rd party repair from garage. I've read people having issue with phone and Apple replacing it or upgrading outright. Android? Send it off for a couple weeks, and hope they fix it.

That's only because isheep are stupid enough to buy it at the costs of 5 iPhones. You break one they still have the profit of 4. They give you a replacement, they still have a 3 iPhone profit. And they still have the gall to charge you for Apple care?!!! Lol straight out money grab.

Android manufacturers work on razor thin margins so of course they can't willy nilly replace something when every idiot joe blow does something stupid with their phone.

You've obviously never held an iPhone. They are built with much better quality than ANY android phone can dream of being, and run faster than ANY android phone at release. The Pixel and HTC U cost the same or more than an iPhone but have a glued on screen, cloth earpiece speaker covering, and janky build.

iSheep? Are you still in grade school?

I have owned plenty of iPhones given to me by my employer and go ahead and believe their crap 750p displays and 1gb of ram is the ultimate in hardware.

Lol you sheep slay me.

And why would I want to buy a phone from a company with "razor" thin margins? So I can notice what they cheaped out on building it? Android flagships get heat pipes just to compete with iPhone LOL

So you want companies to rape you with high profit margins? You isheep are dumber than I thought. Lol

You ever get tired of pissing away your money on android phones, trying to find the perfect one, but they all end up crap? Just get an iPhone and be satisfied. If you've got the money for an android "flagship" you just need to get an iPhone.

But hey, don't let me stop you from buying Apple care + even though you already bought 5 phones, the equivalent of one crap 750p phone and 4 expensive warranties. If you want to add Apple care on top of that, go ahead and piss away your money. Haha
