Wi-Fi version of the Samsung Corby S3650

The Samsung Corby S3650 proved to be one of the latest bestsellers in Samsung´s range of affordable devices and we have recently reported, the manufacturer managed to sell more than 3mln. units of it by the time of the news piece. The likeable handset with youthful design and 2.8-inch touch-sensitive screen will probably follow in the footsteps of another extremely popular handset of the affordable series of the company, none other but the Samsung Star S5230, meaning we should see a Wi-Fi capable version of the S3650 soon. The information is still unofficial, but a Samsung-made handset called the S3650W has been spotted in papers on the website of Wi-Fi Alliance. The guys at Samsung Hub speculate that the new version will hit the shelves January 2010, but we do hope this happens earlier, before the upcoming Christmas holidays.
