too fat for me. im going to get a Samsung Galaxy S II. It's thinner, newer, faster, more vivid screen, and fits comfortable in the hands.

Wow, that's a huge difference, lol. This should be on the headline news.

First thing I did was actually compare the two iphones and I didn't notice the difference at all. Bumper cases still fit perfectly and so do my other cases. The big difference that I have noticed though, that I think is worth writing about than this article, is the obvious difference in display quality. The white iphone has a warmer tone, while the black one has a cooler tone. Also, the white iphone renders much deeper blacks (amoled-like), compared to the black iphone.

I would be curious on the signal reception of the white over the black.

The added thickness could be evident of a possible redesigned antenna specification. The time between in which they halted production and then resumed, would make it possible to alter the design.

It was my speculation that they would eliminate the impedance issue by isolating the outside bezel antenna in some way and adding another within the hardware to compensate. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not dismissing Apple's claim of paint process. However, it seems the antenna design concept would more effectively contribute to girth size.

I am sure that most of the people who is making a big deal out of white iPhone being Thicker wouldn't even notice by them selves if no one pointed out to them first!!!
and about the ones that defend other phones over our dear iPhones i have one question WHAT ARE YOU DOING CHECKING REVIEWS FOR IPHONE?
i love my iPhone and i'm never going around to read other phones reviews i can care less about them since i wouldn't trade my iPhone for any other phone...
