White HTC Sensation hitting shelves in March, to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich
Remember how awesome the HTC Sensation was when it hit the market? With its gorgeous display, snappy dual-core processor and solid construction, it was one of the best smartphones that money could buy. Well, it has been over 8 months since then and the Sensation does not stand as high in the Android food chain anymore.

Yet surprisingly, the HTC Sensation will be available in “ice white” across some parts of Europe starting March 1. Word comes from the manufacturer's Dutch wing, which made the official announcement this morning. In terms of hardware, there will not be any changes made to the device, but software-wise, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will come out of the box. The ICS update will be rolling out to older HTC Sensation variants around the time of the white version's release.

Nothing regarding the white HTC Sensation's price has been mentioned, but we expect it to be priced similarly to its titanium grayish sibling. Anyone else who thinks that the smartphone looks much better in white is free to drop a comment below.

There is already a white Sensation XE so what's the point of getting this if other models will also get ICS at the time with this model's release?

Agreed. IMO they shouldn't bother releasing this at all. They should just redesign this phone and up its specs and release a new mid - top range handest.

I bought my htc sensation a month ago and put it in a otterbox the day i got it. It stoped charging about a week ago, tmobile isnt going to do anytihing about it and they are accusing us of damaging the device and htc told us it was defective.....im so dissapointed i sold my sensation for the new blackberry bold 9900......so if your htc sensation is giving you trouble charging it, htc said its defective

They can keep it. The Sensation has been nothing but a huge headache for me like a couple other HTC phones. The next phone I purchase, if Android, will be by Samsung or Motorola.
