Well, it looks like the rumors were on the right track – a white version of the HP TouchPad was indeed in the company's agenda and can now be purchased online, at least in some...

IF they get this bad boy smoother, and IF they continue to support and build the App selection, and IF the demand for Tablets grows over the next year or two, the TouchPad can still be the dark horse of the Tablet race. HP seems very serious about improving it's product and becoming a serious player in this market. This Tablet series seems to be the whole reason for them to have gotten WeBOS.

Agreed, No one actually needs 64GB of storage on a mobile device anyways. I'm still waiting for my black 16GB version to drop to about $340 before I pick it up :) The problem is that although the new dual-core Qualcomm S3 processors pack more oomph then the Exynos, they don't use it and Applications must be optimized or have instructions to use the second core. But no, HTC and HP couldn't be bothered to code the UI and OS files to make use the S3's full power and eliminate lag.

I've used the Touchpad and for the most part the operation is smooth All that is needed is a few software updates and an improved app selection. I'd actually take WebOS 3.0 over Honeycomb which was laggy and glitchy. If Google manages to get ICS up to scratch then I'll probably just buy an unlocked HTC Puccini.
