And I think Amazonis really the company care about the service and quality, not the profit. Like some try to say the same thing but their so-high profit margin betrays them lolz !

Exactly! They won't make a profit from the 7" devices, but they'll definitely make some from the content. With the new contracts to show episodes of nearly EVERY show you can think of, as well as the growth of their current app-ecosystem, I can see Amazon keeping a good piece of their pie.

LOL, let's just be honest here, I have no beef against Amazon, but let us not be too gullible here. Ever company wants to make profit, it's how you market yourself, and how you persuade consumers to buy your product and how you want them to view your organisation. In this case Amazon wants consumers to view them as an organisation that deosn't cae about profits, which convinces you that they really care about you. Amazon will make profit from their devices one way or another, in this case, they allure you into buying thier device and in turn, you will be locked into paying for their service. As a marketing student, believe me, I know. And yes Amazon it's more of a Customer Orientated company, which means they strive to please their customers' needs, in turn makes their consumers feels special.

This is just a marketing scheme, and believe me it's not a bad thing, as every company have one. And every product has USP (Unique Selling Point) and for the Kindle Fires, it's that the products are of high quality with low prices, and best services afterwards.

But to say Amazon doesn't care about profit it's just bn too gullible. Every company survives on Profit, thats what all the stakeholders care about. Unless if Amazon it's a Non-Profit Organization. Then, yeah, they would not care about profit

Just saying.

The Nexus 7 will easily outperform the Fire.

I was glad to get rid of my Fire after owning it for a month.

Tough choice. GNote 2 so I can have a phone and a tablet, or keep my smartphone and get a Kindle Fire HD 7 and carry around 2 devices. I think that I'll just wait and see.
