Which manufacturer's CES 2016 announcements are you most excited about? (poll results)

7comments

For the members of the public, CES 2016 will remain off limits until tomorrow. If you work for the media, however, access is a non-issue. And how could it be? As always, the majors are holding their presentations in advance of the official opening, and media presence is key. If you've been keeping an eye out on our homepage here at PhoneArena, you'll know that we already have a number of related news, so that paid off. A ton more are to follow.

Of course, not everything is yet known, even right now. Go back a day, and we could only guess. Which is why we asked you to note down the one manufacturer's presentation that you're most excited about. Over a thousand of you responded, and now the results are in.

Most of you probably won't be surprised to hear that Samsung managed the most votes, with a 31% share or so, followed by Sony with about 19%. Next in line are LG with ~15% and Huawei with ~8%. With 0.43% of votes, Acer is the vendor who attracted the least attention. Finally, it's worth pointing out that a large number of people (some 13%) say they're not specifically excited about any one manufacturer's individual announcement(s). That's always good to hear.

Here's the full split:
