iOS 6 wasn't "awesome", but neither is this. I swear Android fans are trying to prove they can be more obnoxious than Apple fans.

If you think this is not an awesome OS...then probably you don't know what is a real mobile OS.
I own an iPhone 4 and want to sell it :)

It doesn't matter what phone you have or want, stealthd is right. iOS 6 sucked, but this update sucks. just as hard, maybe more. Anyone looking at this features OBJECTIVELY would agree.

How did this suck?

This is a software update after just over half a year. It has:

A new default browser.

A better notification management

A better home-screen Widget placing mechanism

An improved performance engine

New gallery features

An entirely new Voice assistant

Other improvements

Remember this is a 0.1 update - not a huge release. For a relatively minor update - this is HUGE!

thats the reason why this is a 0.1 update. not enough to be a 1.0 update.

Performance is a no brainer... arguably the biggest negative part of the OS i'm very glad that jelly bean fixed that problem...

Good job for android!

As a Windows Phone user, I have to say I am very happy with the improvements Android made in Jelly Bean. I always felt like Android used to release too many features too quickly, but this time it seems like the features were well thought out and really improve the core experience.

Still plan to stick with WP8 for my next device, but would love to give this a try.

you said it better than me lol

apple user here...

i'll be making my switch to windows 8 phone & tablet in the near future...

all though i wouldn't mind having that nexus 7 on the side just to have that experience of android's continuous growth and development.

Jelly Belly makes vomit flavored Jelly Beans, so yo can experience a vicious circle, if you want.

You really should try new things.

the vote shows that's the most problem of android is performance. many people happy about performance improvements, but hold your breath now, it will done for your current device(s) next year :p

Sure,
But isn't google's fault. If you have a nexus device, probably you will get your update next month, even the old Nexus S will get it.
The problems are the manufacturers and couriers, they will do whatever they can to sell more devices!
