HTC keep Buking around us and we will turn it in to blackbarry lolz.... It seems like HTC is playing some sick game of "Guess the Missing Feature". All of the latest phones from HTC has some feature that are just dead WRONG!!!

2. a1000smiles4u posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:02 11 1

Apart from display ... whats geeky in it ??

5. PAPINYC posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:07 3 1

Thank you, that's the only part that has me 'dreaming'. Besides, that display is going to wreak havoc on that battery; HAVOC, I TELL YOU, HAVOC!!

16. a1000smiles4u posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:27 1

even the display ... i mean does our Eyes designed that way distinguish between such high pixel density display and normal retina display ??

27. PAPINYC posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:57

No, only when you put an iMagniFying glass to the display; otherwise, the naked eye really can't tell.

44. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:31 4 1

Why you like to add i on everything ? It's not even iFunny

50. TROLL posted on 13 Nov 2012, 19:14 2

To you it ain't, to other's and specially me i lmfao when PAPINYC comments... Cause you'r a iFan....

it's his TradeMark...

62. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 22:09 1

Dead iTroll : in a Apple iArticle it's actually okay to do that . But on a HTC android phone article , really ? Besides adding i in front of anything won't make anything better , that's why apple their maps Apple Maps instead of iMaps , it's map don't deserve an i .

71. PAPINYC posted on 14 Nov 2012, 07:43 1

How coulDi be remiss, of course their 'Maps' don't deserve an "i", an "F -" would be more appropriate.

75. thelegend6657 posted on 14 Nov 2012, 21:26

fTrue

30. Droid_X_Doug posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:25 5 1

S4 Pro + Adreno 320? Then there is the display, although I expect there will be those who question the need for that kind of resolution on a phone. Just don't be surprised if the display becomes the standard for 2013 flagship phones.

IMO, the real problem for HTC is the BATTERY.

56. Droid_X_Doug posted on 13 Nov 2012, 21:13

One additional item regarding the new display - there may be 'issues' with the new resolution and non-compatible apps.... With earlier apps migrating from the Droid X to (for example) the HTC EVO 3D, apps that hadn't been updated for the improved resolution (even in 2D mode) of the EVO were quite tiny when displayed on the EVO.

76. thelegend6657 posted on 14 Nov 2012, 21:29

Just download tablet optimised apps for it , that would work ,
But thats one of the reason why i dislike android tabs , apps sometimes appear tiny in a black box and no way to enlarge it like in the iPad .

Where's the "Battery" section?

12. Jeradiah3 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:23 4 7

they didnt mention how crappy the battery life will be for this phone!! AND why did they say that this is a "geek's dream" when other phones like the S3 and Note II are better than the DNA right now lol

18. E.N. posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:31 18

How in the world is the GSIII better than this phone?

19. nwright94 (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:38 6

While the DNA does have amazing specs, I would personally still pick the note 2 or gs3 because of no touchwiz. And I can guarantee you the DNA will have a locked boot loader, Verizon tends to like their phones like that like their gs3.

45. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:32 5

Touchwiz sucks ! It's either stock or sense for me

72. deathyyy posted on 14 Nov 2012, 11:04 1

Ew TouchWiz.

73. b1acktiger posted on 14 Nov 2012, 13:07 2

Its shipping with S-OFF. No more locked boot loaders !

Why do we have to suffer because you couldn't buy an iPad?

(joking(

37. nwright94 (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 15:23 2

Oh I have an iPad sitting in a drawer collecting dust right now. Got bored of it because I couldn't mod it like I can my kindle fire haha. Probably going to sell it soon to get a nexus 7 with hspa+.

Ikr... S3- when did s3 has a better screen and powerful processor? Exynos have less advanced architecture design to the Snapdragon S4 QUAD CORE CPU.

13. a1000smiles4u posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:23

the unit which they got dint had the battery ... it actually had Nuclear Power Station attached to it :P

25. torr310 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:49 1

HTC still failed to pack the long-lasting battery with their lines.

4. Sakeem posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:05 1

I have to see it in action first. Bring on the reivews. How much mah's? I keep seeing 2020 or 2500. Which is it?

7. PAPINYC posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:10

No one really knows; it's somewhere between 2020mAh/2200mAh and 2500mAh.

9. alouden posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:17 2

It's 2020, sorry to say.

8. androiddownsouth posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:11 6

I still like the phone, but I wanted to love it, and the battery + no microSD card support makes me not love it.......

10. smallworld posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:18

Apart from resolution, nothing more exciting than 2012's flagships.

11. gallitoking posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:22 4 1

well at least have LTE which makes it a superphone..

36. androiddownsouth posted on 13 Nov 2012, 15:05 1 2

Dude seriously? There are enough people on here who prefer android who are quite disappointed in this phone.......

The comment you just made is the very definition of what a troll does. If anyoen doesn't know you are a troll by now, they should after that.

41. gallitoking posted on 13 Nov 2012, 17:50 1

so because a few people disagree I cant have my own opinion. if you don't know what a $heep is. . by your comments.. now they know

47. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:35 1 1

Go to hell ! People are wowed by this phone !
Ignore him Galito he is probably just another crapsung fanboy

60. Raymond_htc posted on 13 Nov 2012, 21:50 1

apple and samsung fans.. are alike- both unreasonable and always siding their apple and sammies. they should be friends- i dont even count samsung fans as android fans.

63. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 22:12

Raymond , so agree . Samsung fans should be excluded from the android fans , giving us a bad name , instead if accepting a negative on a Samsung device they will just hate you . Very arrogant and not tolerant at all .

69. Raymond_htc posted on 14 Nov 2012, 04:00

totally agreed!

51. TROLL posted on 13 Nov 2012, 19:21 1

Well for sure Galli likes Nexus phones.. He dosen't Troll on Nexus devices, posts or comments!

Androiddownsouth you are wrong

64. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 22:15

Troll : to be honest I love the nexus 7 more than the iPad mini . It doesn't have the usual negatives of a android device . Great specs , great price , great software update support and the old unpolished , slow , buggy android is now gone .
My father thinks the galaxy s2 is a better device than a galaxy nexus , he is so wrong I bet he will be happier with a galaxy nexus now .

14. Valdomero posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:24

Can someone explain why manufacturers sometimes don't put microSD card support in the phones?

When I was choosing between the Galaxy Nexus and the GS2, that little detail made me choose the GS2 over the Galaxy Nexus.

15. Aeires (unregistered) posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:26 3

Cost cutting.

17. 1ceTr0n posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:29 1

As well as "force" you to pay more money for the higher end version with more storage = more profit for them.

32. VZWuser76 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:51 1

Also I believe they're trying to push us to use cloud storage. The problems with that is that we also have tiered data plans. You can delete stuff off and download stuff onto it using the cloud storage, but each time you do you use some of your data allotment. After that it'll cost you and quite a bit unless things change. I would bet its the carriers who are pushing for no external storage. Now if they all had 32GB+ of storage it might not be so bad.

The problem is all the signature games coming now needing around 1-3GB of space, and the future is bringing 1080p screens which if the games make use of that resolution will require even MORE space. Aside from gaming there is streaming video like YouTube, Netflix, & July, not to mention Verizon's plan to switch to Voice over LTE which will use data as well, and the data overages could be significant, if not the same cost as the phone itself. Which is what the carriers are counting on.

33. VZWuser76 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:52

That should've been Hulu, not July.

48. thelegend6657 posted on 13 Nov 2012, 18:36 1

You choosed the wrong phone , Galaxy Nexus is a better phone .
HD screen and better support

23. lukasound posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:40 1

Monster.
Too bad about the microSD...

26. gallitoking posted on 13 Nov 2012, 13:55 6

If HTC wants to make me a believer.. you put the battery size on the specs before anything else...

28. jackhammeR posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:10

I wonder if they finally stop pushing the limits of displays. Above 1080p? No kidding. Maybe now they will put the focus on better batteries. We've got 2 gigs of ram, quad cores, 1080p display, unibody shells. DO THE BATTERY!!!!!

29. zzzzz posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:21

what the heck dream?

31. Carlitos posted on 13 Nov 2012, 14:28

I would deal with a no micro SD, but the battery size just is dissapointing. A larger display more pixels to push, and LTE will drain that battery in a matter of 6-8 hours

38. redmd posted on 13 Nov 2012, 15:25 2

I say 4 hours at most on LTE.
