No because android doesn't have the apps and games, plus laggs a little and the apps are not that polished or optimized.
Recently I was trying to find a office suite to send some cvs and guess what, no app on the google play matches pages by apple.

What they want on ios7 is all the features of a jailbroken ipad.
Of course ios and android can't match windows, so for work windows 8 atom tablets rock.

There is an app called "Simple Spreadsheet" that you could use. There are a few others as well and it took me about 5 seconds to find them with a Google search. Not trying to come at you any sort of way, just saying its there and really easy to find. Hope this helps.

"No because android doesn't have the apps and games, plus laggs a little and the apps are not that polished or optimized."

This excuse was good few years ago but not today, there is plenty applications and games for Android.
Also talking about iOS applications, they tend to crash more than Android applications (not mine opinion, statistics says so). Talking about the lag, look how lags older iPhone models after update to iOS 6.

There are plenty of apps and games for android IF you compare it to windows phones, but there aren't many if you compare it to ios. I mean you are a regular user here I am pretty sure that every time phonearena reviews the best apps and games of the month 80% come from ios.

Apps tent to crush far more on my nexus 10, that's why I sold it, it wasnt a great after sales value either.
One time it crashed when I was working, I am a DJ....
You can imagine the embarrassment.....
My ipad3 has never crushed, not even once, and the tractor DJ app is the best DJ app and if I am not confused is a IOS exclusive.

Talking about lagg the first 4 years, ok maybe the first 3 years when android was released, the phones weren't even useable because of the lagg. We had to wait for the quad core era to see some descent performance.

Talking about app crash, your personal experience is ain't indicator, statistics collects results from many users not just one.

Talking abou app count in Apple's "App Store" and Google's "Google Play", last time when I have read news, they said that Apple has 800,000 apps in the "App Store", "Google Play" is about at 800,000 and is likely to hit the million app benchmark before iOS.

"I am pretty sure that every time phonearena reviews the best apps and games of the month 80% come from ios."

So you are "pretty sure" or you exactly know that?
And talking about 80%, where you get this statistic or it is just your personal opinion?
Also who decides which game or app is better, or it is just PhoneArena's writers personal opinion?

Talking about lag, look how lags older iPhone models after update to iOS 6 and how much faster works older Android devices after updating to Jelly Bean. And anyway I think it is more important what is happening today, not four years ago!

Yes I agree is more important what is happening today, and as for right now all I can see is that google is not trying hard enough with android, no optimisation, not many quality apps, and they don't care about the customers because the os is open source and the manufactors will use it anyways.

It's samsung who is saving their asses every day. That's right, the hardware manufactors are the reason why people by the so called android phones. I will buy the s4 myself, do you think I will buy it because of android?
I don't think so.
I will buy it because of the hardware its packing.
Multicore CPU,13 mp camera and 5 inch screen.
The majority of the people they don't know what android and ios are, they just see a phone and buy it.

The last time I checked 8 out of 10 apps of the month were ios exclusive, that's 80%.
When it comes to games then ios beats android 99% there are no exclusive games on android in general, let alone exclusive games worth playing.
Plus if i am not mistaken on the nexus 10 the games use to run without special effects.

"...for right now all I can see is that google is not trying hard enough with android..."

Look at iOS evolution and Android OS evolution, Android OS evolves faster. iOS lacks majority of features which Android OS already has for many years. For example read all comments below current article, iOS users want features which already exists on Android.
Talking about updates and optimizations, older Android OS based phones after updating to Jelly Bean started to work much faster while in Apple camp older iPhone models after update to iOS 6 started to work much slover. Also don't forget how lame and buggy was recent iOS 6 updates...
Also don't forget about Apple maps "quality" and iPhone 5 resolution incompatibility with older apps. And if you stil say that iOS apps has higher quality, then why statistics says that they tend to crash more. What about news that iOS is more vulnerable than Android?

And after all that you still think that Apple is working harder improving their OS?

Actually androids phones got faster with the 4.0 and 4.1 updates not the processor, like the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3, EVO 4G LTE, One x, ect. had dual core processors and were faster than the iPhone 4, 4s, and 5.

Wait what!!!! The iphone has a retina display!!!!
dang # best #screen #on #the # market

When in reality it has 336 ppi and androids are working with 441...
Did you know the iphone doesnt even have an HD screen? The resolution is just under 720p
So when you get your fingerprint scanner ill just use my facial recognition software. When your asking siri whats the weather outside ill have it as my backround. When you want to back up your contacts and calander to icloud ill be backing up everything in my phone with gmail. ( songs included) when you want to download music ill be pulling it off a cloud storage offerred free by google. When you want share an app with someone you go ahead and find that on the app store, ill be using nfc to send them directly to it. I think ill stop there but i could go all day

I'm not asking too much, but For Peat' Sake. Change the design, why make it long?okay make it long but make the design proportion. Make it wider or something. Blue tooth sharing, SD slot. Give color to the design.

1. More integration and sharing options between apps and services online and offline.
2. Full screen mode for safari browser.
3. Better multitasking interface.

That's it.

Sorry I meant full screen for the tablet version of safari,
The tablet version hasn't got full screen.
The iPhone version does have though.

Get Opera browser...

But yeah, it sucks not having integration and having to copy/paste links everytime...

So you might as well just get an Android...

right... but I do remember one version of the iPhone having a bluetooth chip without officially supporting it, until they update their OS version...
They only showed a Nike+ something app... which was based on bluetooth... I think it also happened on an iPod Touch

Anyway I know this won't happen here...

Funny how people here keep wishing for features found on Androids since a long while...

installing ios7 on 3gs will be like installing only the jb launcher on the gingerbread based rom and releasing it like an major s/w update...(this kind of update is always done by apple->not providing the main features of the update but still the update exists for older devices)
