What secret is Nokia and Samsung hiding from the public?

0. phoneArena 02 Jul 2013, 02:05 posted on

An interesting sidebar to the Apple-Samsung patent trial sequel is taking place between Samsung and Nokia; on Monday, Nokia requested to have a motion sealed. Normally this might not seem like a big deal, courts are bombarded with such requests every day. But what made this request interesting is that the document that Nokia wants to seal is a motion to have a motion sealed...

it's impossible, Nokia's strategy relies on patents and Nokia is Microsoft's trojan horse to get the patents they need to support Windows Phone, so they would never sell anything to Samsung: Microsoft would never allow it.

why can't Microsoft allow it??? is Nokia owned by Microsoft????
Nokia just make MS OS phones. Microsoft do not have any right to involve in Nokia's operations.

I like this haha.. ;))
If Samsung can acquire Nokia or anything related to Nokia's Camera technology then Samsung will have some hotter competition to give to Sony's Honami cybershot and Htc's hoping to be improved ultrapixel..

the only problem is that they can't. firstly, nokia isnt a broke enough company that anyone can buy (b!itch plz huawei) and secondly, microsoft isnt micro or soft, the monster wont let nokia get bought.

I wish it could be true that Samsung owns Nokia, but again I would love to see a stronger independent Nokia. oxymoron call it.

Last time Nokia spoke on behalf of Apple against Samsung and some people, including myself, auto banned them for life for it. Apple can afford to lose a few customers for their disgusting actions but Nokia can't. So they are probably just trying to hide the fact Nokia thinks too highly of themselves and want to abuse the patent system just like Apple does. They can't afford to lose any customers right now through bad publicity.

It wasn't Nokia's idea to get pulled into that. Apple just asked first for them to be a "friend of the court", and as the paramount patent holder on mobile technology patents, a smart move on crabapple's part. Samsung should have asked first.

this kind of article has alot of guessing in it and has no basis in truth. even the article itself says "when trying to determine what Nokia and Samsung could have been talking about". AKA i dont know what this means i'm just going to guess. dont take this article as actual fact or proof in what it is trying saying. it's just alot of propaganda and is trying to stir the pot to get article views. the part that made me laugh the most is "your mind turns to some sort of deal involving a purchase of Nokia by Samsung". nice try author, not going to happen. even you said it was a long shot. better off not typing it. but good job reeling in the fanboys to argue in the comments.
