Sack Elop. Sack the board of directors of Nokia. All of them. What they did even pissed the most loyal Nokia users.
Break up Nokia, sell its parts to the highest bidder.
The longer they wait, the more resources they burn to the ground, paying salaries to directors that miss the mark, employees working on stuff that nobody wants to buy. That's what the mounting losses mean. Spending money and not getting reasonable return.
Nokia’s mission is simple: Connecting People.
Nope, I never saw it that way when Elop took over and announced Windows Phone exclusivity. Windows is a monopoly monster, a closed system. Sleeping in bed with a monster. You think I want to connect with people using another dead closed system that refuses to cooperate freely with other people's program? Windows had 10 years to change Office to cooperate more easily with other programs. They didn't, because they want to keep people paying huge sums for the next Office.

Why don't you clowns go buy a WP or a Nokia WP instead of bitching about elop. And why do you clowns bitch about Nokia not adopting Android? There's plenty of oems producing google Android OS, more than plenty in fact. Why add Nokia to the mix? You fan boy clowns just need to STFU!

Dont get me wrong lubba i don't hate windows phone i think it's great i'm getting wp8 soon....but i just don't like the way elop do things of ditching a potential OS. I dont have anything against other OS. Its the way how elop do things.

Don't like elop either but shouldn't deter anybody from buying an awesome Nokia phone.

once upon a time i had 2 Nokia (with Symbian) and 1 Samsung (WinMo 6.5). then comes this guy by the name of Elop saying he's shutting down symbian and switching to WP. next thing i know MS is shutting down MyPhone service and Market Place for WinMo. kinda feel both OS are as good as dead. well, gotta jump to another platform that isn't burning. i once craved this so called lumia phone, saw it in a store, tested it, i don't like what i see. too many limitations with the WP, and the salesperson i spoke to doesn't even aware of these limitations. so yeah, i'm saying goodbye to both Nokia and WP.

IO has limitations beyond WP yet it sells and makes more money than google android will ever make. f**k that excuse!

hah, thought you were speaking of Nokia and WP, why bring iOS now? are you saying iOS is better than WP? then why the hell should we buy Nokia WP?
there, you said it yourself, there's your excuse, WP just doesn't sell.....
even android with all its openness sells more than WP ever will

nobody wants to buy windows phone, when there exists alternatives that are superior in every way to windows phone. Iphone users buy iphone because they like IOS. Android phone users, like me, bought android because we don't want to be locked into IOS and Itunes, although we really like the IOS, but I also want a screen bigger than Iphone.
Why would I want to buy a stupid Windows Phone that is worse than IOS, and even has far fewer features & apps than Android?
Nokia doesn't bother to know their customers. They should burn to the ground. Break up the company. Sell the IP to other companies that knows how to leverage them. My wish is a private equity firm to buyout Nokia dirt cheap and break them up. Serves them right.

Nokia should've jumped on the android band wagon when it was stil new nd fresh, i think their OS i realy behind in terms of speed and being fluid. I grew up hearing the phrase "Nokia is the best"and at tht time it really was, now they only hv 1 fone tht can record in 1080p if any of their lumia fones had these capabilities (and a memory card slot) I'd consider it but right now im kinda dissapointed in them. They should give us sumthing like 4.3inch 540*960 display, 1.2 Ghz dual(or quad) core, a really powerful GPU, a smooth web browser, one of their great camera's and generally all good features .
