What do Nokia Lumia 900 users in the U.S. do in their first month of ownership?

0. phoneArena posted on 10 Jul 2012, 08:13

A reoort from Nokia shows that during their first month of ownership, more Nokia Lumia 900 users in the U.S.use the camera on the phone than any other feature; phone calls, of course, were not one of the possible answers...

Wow.

Those are strange demographics. I hope Nokia looks at those and realizes they need to reach a younger demographic. I also wonder what these results would look like if the 900 was on Verizon or Sprint as well as AT&T.

I would like to see what Nokia users on T-Mobile look like.

@AbhiD I was trying to vote you down but the browser on my Android rerendered the page so it jumped sideways. Had I been using my Lumia it wouldn't have happened.

Also, 3 friends just got Lumias. 2 cyan, one white, though the white one will likely be traded for the pink one when it's available

@AbhiD,

I don't make it a habit to argue with people that are as ignorant of the facts as you are, but go ahead and read the article in this link to see the facts. I also recommend you stop lying to people, not a great habit. Study was conducted by Nielsen, an independent research firm hired by Nokia.

Several years ago, facebook or twitter were not as pevelant on mobile devices either. Throw in other data centric apps or service that utilize some sort of texting and voila.

That should help make up a decent size of the pie.

I love the Lumia 900 design & WP is shaping up nicely. Wish Verizon would pick up this line of phones...if anything, for smart phone variety.

The camera is the worst part of this phone! (terrible white balance, color accuracy, overexposure, yellow spot in center of photos) Followed maybe by web browsing (sometimes glitchy). Everything else is nice though; minus the lack of wp8 :[. Really just hope to use apps like Nokia maps in background. Once that happens, I'm content.
