The Sony Xperia Z is dead, long live the Xperia X! Yes, Sony has changed the name of its flagship line to symbolize a re-imagining of the way it goes about smartphones. The Sony Xperia XA, Xperia X, and Xperia X Performance are probably among the most anticipated smartphones this year, if only just because we are curious to see what Sony has done differently, and whether it is for the better.

So far, we've had a stab at the upper midrange Xperia X and, unfortunately, the handset definitely left us disappointed. However, we are still hopeful for the top-of-the-line Xperia X Performance.
