WebOS on-screen keyboard continues to evolve

If you've installed the on-screen keyboard for the Palm Pre a while back, then you probably know that the team who created it have been hard at work perfecting it...

This is great for the Palm users and all, but I think that too much work is being put into this on screen keyboard. Wasn't the real keyboard one of the Pre's best attributes? I thought an on screen keyboard was a no-no to them at first. But I guess like Android with the G1, they realized sooner than later that an onscreen keyboard really is needed. I just think its weird considering all the bashing (not really on this site though) that all the Pre users were doing earlie.

forum.ppcgeeks.com and forum.xda-developers.com Those are some of the best pocket pc sites around. There's all kinds of good stuff there. Also, do a google search for windows mobile apps. Lots of stuff is available. Oh, and it's not really fair to compare the Pre to the TP2. They are different phones, for different purposes. Would Verizon still be gay if they had the pre, and it functioned the same as the Pre on Sprint?

NO.. only because it is hella cheaper on Sprint for service.

I put my VZW account on hold and tried out the Pre on Sprint because of the Pre and just as much for the cheaper service... well, I cancelled on day 29 because I got dropped calls like it was 1999 and 3G service sucked. So, for me, VZW is worth the extra price for the excellent service.

yes because verizons pre will not function the same we all know verizon bogs down there phones.

If the phone was more sturdy I would get it but the way it is now and how butterfingered I am a pass is warranted at the moment
