We pity the fool that wouldn't want BlackBerry's Mr. T

Take the highly regarded capacitive touchscreen from the Storm, add one of RIM's amazing physical QWERTY keyvboards and you have Mr. T...

you can clearly see the windows mobile key on that keyboard. I dont think that Blackberry would put a slide out keyboard on the device. It's already bulky enough...

They need to have a (+) (-) (!) on crappy Phone Arena journalists... I would spam this article in a second....Or atleast boo it...

2. BigRed83 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 06:44

I think it's a mockup of what RIM 'could' put out as Mr. T

3. nick315 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 09:15

could you honestly see them putting something extra like that on the Blackberry seeing that its already that bulky?

4. iberrystorm posted on 27 Sep 2009, 09:59

o wow its a fake! its the storm over the htc tytn 2. if this is real, rim s getting desperate trying to copy htc. htc ftw!

7. sinfulta posted on 27 Sep 2009, 11:21

I love how they photoshopped (and badly) a HTC Tytn2 /UTstarcomm-HTCVX5800 keyboard and placed a Blackberry Storm 9500 (GSM Version) over one another and didn't even take the time to change the keys. So lazy. Wither the rumor about them eventually coming out with a sliding keyboard is true or not I can't say... but this is definitely not it.

5. stuntz posted on 27 Sep 2009, 10:38

pretty crappy photoshop IMO.

6. vzw fanman posted on 27 Sep 2009, 11:00

why need a keyboard? it's perfect the way it is.

18. stuntz posted on 27 Sep 2009, 15:26

perfect and bb storm are words that dont coexisist.

22. vzw fanman posted on 27 Sep 2009, 18:09

and why is that bro

8. crd22 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 11:41

Cmon, seriously PhoneArena??? This is the worst photoshop ever, and it is clearly an HTC keyboard. The fact that there's a Windows key AND the keyboard is like half the size of the rest of the phone gives it away. So much for being a reliable source.... jk, but this is still unbelievable

13. iceman23 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 12:59

I concur, that keyboard looks like some clunky widows mobile piece of crap! Also the Blackberry itself has the buttons of the storm 1!!!!

17. remixfa posted on 27 Sep 2009, 14:41

wow, you guys dont read much do you. they even say in the last line that its just a pic to give an "idea" of what it would look like, not a real pic. as much as i love to hate on phonearena when they do something stupid, this time they covered their butts

9. paintballguy113 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 12:11

LOL nice. WHoever made the picture just put an HTC Tilt under the Storm. But Maybe it's just a mockup, a general idea.

11. iberrystorm posted on 27 Sep 2009, 12:33

its not a tilt but a tytn 2.

19. VZW_redrep posted on 27 Sep 2009, 16:15

SSSAAAAAMMMMMEEEEEEEE SSSSSSHHHHIIIIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a tilt(code named tytn). DIP STICK.

10. lilmoney30 posted on 27 Sep 2009, 12:25

This topic was just brought up in crackberry's latest podcast. Pics of the patent came out last year before the storm came out. I think its a great idea and it shows that Rim is trying to make devices for everyone.

12. iberrystorm posted on 27 Sep 2009, 12:49

i also cant help to think if this would to ever happen it would be like soft keys on the tour but the buttons would be bigger to fir the size of the storm thingy...

20. VZW_redrep posted on 27 Sep 2009, 16:17

iberrystorm needs to go to school. Who really says "thingy". iberry ftw! jk

21. iberrystorm posted on 27 Sep 2009, 17:11

well, the reason i said thingy is because the picture looks like a storm right now, but if this ever comes out in the future who knows what rim would call this device...
