Waze released for Windows Phone

It has been quite a long wait, but Waze for Windows Phone has finally been released. The Windows Phone version of the popular crowd-sourced turn-by-turn navigation app has been in development since before Google agreed to purchase Waze. Now, it is finally available for download and the app looks to be quite well-designed and fully featured...

Likely it was more due to the fact that there had been quite a bit of development done before Google bought Waze, and didn't want that to all be a waste.

Maybe it's their way of seeing whether it's worth it for them to spend the time and money to port of their official Google apps as well as a test market.
