Watch the all new HTC One (M8) event live stream here
The All New One should be available to purchase immediately after its announcement in the UK. For the moment, we don’t know if customers in the US will also be able to buy the handset starting March 25. In any case, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are all going to sell the smartphone eventually.
The new HTC One appeared in lots and lots of leaked photos and renders until now, so its design will likely not surprise too many people. But HTC could surprise us with some new features. Or maybe not? We'll see later today!

Well... nice to know that I didn't miss a thing. What a joke HTC!!! You really should be ashamed today with this mediocre phone. Ahhhhh.... 4mp???? Bezels!!!? Huge size! After these 3 everything else is meaningless. So long HTC. RIP
I will absolutely not even look at anything less than 13mp. I love my S4 camera it pretty much replaced my DSLR for daily use. I use my Nikon DSLR for portraits and real photography but day to day stuff my S4 is more than enough.

Except availability of the device, price and the official official MP count on the cameras.
11. mr.techdude (Posts: 541; Member since: 19 Nov 2012)
It is said that the camera on the new HTC one has the same resolution as a 16 mp camera, so ur kinda relived I'm guessing.

But that's not gonna happen anyway.... :(

How do you know, their hasn't been any camera shots seen yet u irrelevant twit. Stop hating cause haters just bark and the only way to shut haters up is give them a shmekozz
15. StraightEdgeNexus (Posts: 3027; Member since: 14 Feb 2014)
Lets be honest htc cameras are always overhyped. The one x boasted 'imagesense' camera but it was a fail compared to galaxy s3, xperia s. Then the One last year with that ultrapixel sh@t. This year is gonna be no different. I'm hating because i'm just annoyed by that comments from the article htc m8 vs. Xperia z2 preliminary comparison.
13. imyourpapi (Posts: 65; Member since: 04 Jan 2014)
I get it now, you must get turned on hating htc, cause every article that involves htc you are quick to hate lol secretly love HTC bro?
16. limporgyuk (Posts: 136; Member since: 06 Nov 2013)
Have you seen the results?? Have you owned an HTC One to see how good the ultrapixels actually are?? HTC could put a 20MP camera in thier phones tomorrow if they wanted to. Innovation should be rewarded, not shot down even before the device is released. You are the pinnacle of ignorance and nobody cares about your opinions. Do everyone a favour, get rid of your 3 year old S2 and get a life then you might be able to stop trolling.

Tune in that xperia z2 vs htc one m8 in this site. And see how pathetic can fanboys be.

I'm going to sum it up for all the haters, HTC always makes quality and this phone is as premium as it gets. Samsung can suck a big weeny, their marketing doesn't make their phones good it makes them sell. HTC has had the best phones on the market regardless of them selling well. Their first HTC One got nothing but rave reviews by everyone, except the unlucky people who had bad cameras. This phone is their heart and soul and i'm willing to bet their camera set up is going to take the lead here. C'mon HTC blow my mindddddddddd
24. papss (unregistered)
I agree.. I want this phone to blow my mind.. I hope the camera is a knock out
30. Genza (Posts: 108; Member since: 12 Mar 2014)
There is a big difference between the haters and someone with common sense.
I agree with you better sales does not mean it's better phone, but the sales revenue is one of the most important things.
Because if you buy a phone that success in the market you will get better support for updates, custom rom and accessories.
As far as I know the best thing about M8 is stereo speakers and M8 looks more premuim than the S5, other than that S5 is as good or even better than M8.
To me you sound like a fanboy who doesn't want to accept the fact that there is another product that is as good or even better than the M8.
34. zachattack (Posts: 540; Member since: 31 Jul 2013)
I laugh because HTC has great support for cases and all that crap. Updates don't even matter i could go on about why. They usually bring the device down instead of helping it. Comes with 4.4 anyway so unless you want the fabled key lime pie i don't get you bruh.
I am not a fan boy i owned one HTC phone in my life, owned an apple (regretably) and now i rock an LG. However i will be buying this because i know everyone has the same hardware, that doesn't matter it's the best of the best. While it might seem like opinion, HTC just has the best looking OS. They have the best looking / best built phone. Not even a crack at Samsung since pretty much everyone but HTC uses a form of plastic. Chipped scratched plastic looks worse than chipped scratched metal.
I don't need to accept a phone that's better than the M8 because all the phones are the same minus the OS and build. Once you realize that, you will realize why fanboys are so aweful
56. Taters (Posts: 2648; Member since: 28 Jan 2013)
Lol boy are you in for a surprise. HTC makes the worst built phones by far. I owned like 6 Or more HTC devices, some which were exchanges, and you will want to throw it out of your window within a month tops if not in weeks.
Good luck. My prediction.
Your first M8 will have a dead pixel, dust, or some kind of finishing problem.
Your exchanged device will seem okay after you get past the hardware quality control issues. But then some software issues, non responsive button or not receiving notifications issues, heating, and GPS issues will begin to crop up and the phone will seem way too tall for your jeans pockets. And then the software fix will take 4 months to come out and by that time you just have an LG or Samsung.
Good luck buddy. You are going to be in for a big surprise if you truly believe the HTC koolaid you just spewed out. Lol
58. Arte-8800 (limited) (Posts: 4039; Member since: 13 Mar 2014)
you really had time and bad defected products by them
59. zachattack (Posts: 540; Member since: 31 Jul 2013)
Unlucky for you i've never had any issue like that with any phone and you do not speak for every HTC phone ever made buddy. You won't find a better built phone than the One. Also, you can shove it for being an aweful trolly fan boy.
31. abhishekj (Posts: 1; Member since: 25 Mar 2014)
hey the s5 is good but it doesnot look premium after the hype of metal body and classy design rumours it came out with an s5 enveloped with the looks similar to all the samsung smart phones. I filled up a half hour customer survey when i told three that i might buy a samsung if it feels premium all in vane. Now lets see what htc comes up with.

it funny that he show the dubble tap and putting the phone to your ear to answer calls as a Innovation. Im glad that helpful features are available, just dont show it like that.
55. i3izkit311 (Posts: 28; Member since: 17 Oct 2011)
