I'm happy to see more diversity when it comes to mobile platforms.

it's WP8 in it, not Nokia's OS, of course it can do what the other windows 8 phone's can do!

Yup 10.7mm and 185g is way bigger and heavier than a brick.

HTC's lock screen has that since Sense 3.
It's a great thing that Nokia has that too.

Correct me if I am wrong but this feature is not new to WP8 and again I am not starting any flame wars here just stating what I have been doing already- My Samsung Galaxy S 2 skyrocket has this feature already using a third party app that's been available for ages. Can't remember its name but it allows me to have live widget updates on my lock-screen Weather, e-mail, FB and Twitter Updates etc..

I am happy that WP has this feature but how can the writer say that Android should have thought of this first? is it not suppose to let its app developers hook into the Os to create such useful features if not then there would not be developers making apps and propelling the platform ( a catch 22 I suppose). Any way this feature has been available on Android since gingerbread.

Got a lumia already and I think the Windows UI is awesome! Only draw back, there is no EQ on 7.5, anyone know if there is a built in EQ on windows 8?
