I'm going to venture a guess and say that most people who frequent this site (myself included) are either unsatisfied with their current phone or are just very interested in cell phones. I'm also going to guess that most people don't really care all that much. Many people, when given a choice, just buy an iPhone and are satisfied with it. Most of those people are not looking at phone websites. We can make fun of these people and call them naïve loosers, but the fact is that Apple makes a product that sells and makes a butt-load of money for them. Incremental changes indeed, but the smart money says that this next iPhone will continue that trend. I'm a big fan of android but I invest in Apple because of it.

i hope they will just change the look.. i know they just want it look simple and elegant but i hope they will consider the mediocrity of the OS from the 1st version to the newest version!

unlike android.. you can actually change the appearance.. and blackberry and symbian you can have themes!

They are becoming more like Androids every update...... people just move onto the the leading most inovating OS - Android and exercise your god given gift of "Free Will" to choose the device you want from the many manufactureres and models out in the market.

Oh great! Now you will have 24 icons per screen. Big deal. Wish Apple brought something that's actually revolutionary. Even live wallpapers will do. But seeing most of their dough is spent on lawsuits, I'm not sure what will make people buy the next iPhone.

5 rows? even low end device Galaxy Y with Go Launcher EX installed can have. Live tile like on Wndows Phone 7.X just install 7Launcher and u have better tile that can change the color and have transparent color on it, just not yet implemented on live tile such as contact live tile, but for folder and icon tiles, it is way amazing. U can look my screen shots of my Galaxy Y here:

sorry, didn't take any screenshot for 5x4 and 5x5 icon grid because of it's 3" small screen so the icon title is overlaping each other so i have to turn hide icon labels which is so inconvenience.
