Model rocket builder Mike Westerfield took his wife's Apple iPhone 4S and using a low-power sensor, sent the handset soaring into the air with the device cradled in a special balsa wood holder, collecting data from the flight...

In such cases you can make much more with Android OS (Arduino + Google's ADK). :)
