Want an Apple iPad mini with Retina display? The Apple Store is your best bet

Thanks to reported problems with LCD burn-in at Sharp, where many of the panels for the new Apple iPad mini with Retina display are produced, the tablet did not launch until November 12th. Apple, relying on its other sources for the glass, is still facing shortages of the device. If you're looking to make a walk-in purchase of the slate, your best bet is to check your nearby brick and mortar Apple Store...

Just count, how many Apple realated articles per day are in all the tech media sites. That's the real point here.

Bigger ipod touch vs the Nexus 7, i'm less likely to buy a tablet anytime soon but i'd choose the more economical (while packing in some powerful gear) Nexus 7 any day of the year.

Theres only two reasons anyone would ever do that and they are 1. You're an android / nexus fanboy (which, as your name suggests, is you all over) or 2. You're on a budget...
Lets not kid ourselves here - when it comes to tablets the iPad has the market sewn up; and the iPad mini is a gorgeous device with an awesome ecosystem...Don't be blinded, Google don't give a cr@p about you kid..

About time someone spoke some reality to him. Google cares as much about him as apple does about me...zero. We are consumers to them that's it, and that's all. Fanboyism sucks

Agree that both care only for themselves and the big-shareholders.
But they have two different approaches. And that makes difference for the consummers, too.

The Nexus 7 screen is way better. That is a pretty good reason I say, especially if you are buying a smaller tablet as an ereading device.

Loooooool 1, i'm not a google fan 'as my name suggests' , i'm a nokia fan. 2, are you kidding me android tablets are outselling the ipads like 1:20 or something. 3, i'm not on budget (but if i were i'd get so much more for so much less with the nexus unlike so much less for so much more with i products), the reason that i don't like tablets is because i have a laptop and b.c i'm an architecture student and i use a lot of CAD softwares on it. which is also great for typing and gaming.

Android tablets are not outselling iPads by that much. Show some proof.
