WSJ: Sprint to officially cut ties with LightSquared on Friday, to return $65 million

Sprint is expected to officially terminate its 15 year contract with LightSquared on Friday and return $65 million in prepayments; the reason behind the termoination is the FCC's refusal to allow LightSquared to operate its LTE network...

Oh Sprint, success just isn't in your future. Maybe if you'd quit making stupid business decisions (ie: WiMax & Nextel) and saying, while the world is adopting this standard we'll go another route, maybe, just maybe you'll move ahead.
