WSJ: Foxconn to produce a line of branded accessories

With competition affecting the market share of the Apple iPhone, contract manufacturer Foxconn is looking for a way to add some growth to the company's top and bottom lines; Apple accounted for about half of Foxconn's $130 billion in revenue that it took in last year and the problem is that this represented growth of only 13% in 2012, a big drop off from the 53% growth it achieved in 2010 when the Apple iPad was brand new...

Foxconn should manufacture suicide nets, because their name is synonymous with it... Now they want to use Apple's Technology to make a iphone competitor phone? Isn't that what Samsung did to them... hehehehe hahahahaha... Poor Apple.

I can understand this move as the company has been completely dependent on apple for ALOT of revenue. They should be able to take some of that experience and make their own just as long as they watch what they create. Partnering with firefox is the way to go.
