WSJ: Apple's iWatch will come in different shapes and sizes, with more than 10 sensors

Apple has evidently tried to make the iWatch not only look good in multiple designs and sizes, but also provided unique functions that come in addition to, as opposed to duplicating smartphone functions, claims the WSJ. As for the health and fitness sensors, Apple's new Health app and SDK hint at what might be included in the new iWatch - pulse, blood pressure and pedometer functionality, even glucose metering are all in the cards...

Doesn't seem very innovative to me. Just making the existing ones a lot better.

The current ones only exist because of Apple, the other companies knew what Apple was up to, so they all tried to be the first to the market, but they are all fails.

WSJ, you get some stuff right, but three years ago you cited "people familiar with the matter" and claimed Apple would have two iPhones, one much bigger than the other - we got the 4S lol. Last year you also cited "people familiar with the matter" and said they'd release their smartwatch... we got the iPhone 5S. These companies just come up with bs, because simply put it's EASY to predict what will come next, either this time round or next year.

Everyone is desperate for it, because only apple can nail it down correctly. Before the launch of iphone, no one could figure out how to make a good smartphone, same was the case with ipad, it started the era of modern tablets, same as iphone started the era of modern smartphones...... And rest assured iwatch is going to start the era of better smart wears.............

I really doubt about different shapes... Apple does NOT know how to do this... Its macbook, imac, iphone, ipad - All look the same over the years...

I hope this will have good stand-by potential. I read that LG G-clock will have 36h stand-by time. Last Casio clock I owned there were a string with text: 10 year battery. Ok, it lasted 3-4 year out of the box. I do not need clock with battery for 3 days. Ok, only if wireless charged and coming with charger.
