That's a huge Sprint specific market, seems like you are trying to discount my experince because now that I do travel, save money and cant get downloads easily from places other than the digital lounge, getitnow for you all, I only go places where Sprint has service. It's rich how just because I called out the red menace I must work for Sprint. I will give vzw credit for having a good network and a few above decent phones but the same can be said for Sprint albeit at a lower price monthly and a higher out the door price. There are plenty of 3rd party sites offering free downloads and until a smartphone that suits me arrives, was the Pre but now I want to wait a little while, Opera Mini on my dumphone is how I contribute here and on other sites which is why I can't jell with vzw's practices. My phone works everywhere I've been with a few hiccups but that's to be expected with any carrier and if you say not with vzw you're lying. Justify vzw ridding themselves of any stand alone unllimited data option while forcing a plan for non=smartphones as the reason why while you all call me out for voicing my opinion and observations as much as you want but it won't change the facts. Verizon is only fooling the drones who are happy payig more for a fabricated reality of a better network and banking thier aquisitions to make them the biggest is reason enough not to change. I get 250M mobile calls for free and my plan already includes unlimited messaging, tv, radio and nav that will easily tranfer to whatever phone they sell, smartphones included, at no additional cost. Can any of the fans here say the same for vzw or even att?

I remeber those billing problems and can attest to those myself, multiple times, but never experienced any getting it corrected. I read vzw is having billing probs too so maybe you are one of the lucky ones not to have it happen to you. When Sprint brought the Everything palns out i was reluctant to change because I would be loosing minutes, 600 to be exact, but after crunching #'s it was worth it and guess what? Since all the sevices I was paying for seperately were bundled, no more billing errors. I will keep the same paln with no additional cost if I were using a Lotus, Exclaim, Pro 200/700, Instinct, Tour, Touch Pro, Pre or even the upcoming Hero. 3 lines at $150 + $21 for ins and $4 for roadside assistance for 1500 landline and 800 # minutes, that same plan on vzw would only be 700 minutes for 2 lines.

I get what I pay for and then some. If vzw is allowing 3rd party downloads directly to the phone it news to me but them not having any stand alone unlimited data optionfor non-smartphones is true and so is the fact that the Connect and Premium plans will not work on any smartphone or RIM device they sell

Don, I think its funny that, although you say its rich how just because you called out the red menace you must work for sprint, you didn't refute the statement. Do you or do you not work for sprint?

47. DonLouie posted on 21 Sep 2009, 23:27

No, I do not work for any cell carrier. I am just a happy Sprint customer here to refute the bad press and ill talk going on here and elsewhere, at the same time the vzw minions act like any time thier carrier is called out about any misstep it's treated as blasphemy
